A whole new start
My day was fitting for Friday the 13th. I left my job after four years to pursue other opportunities. Just what these new opportunities are remains to be seen. They are hazy and this where the freakiness of Friday the 13th seeped into the day. I am a planner; a strategy or a plan attack brings me comfort. Without a plan, I feel lost and panicky. So as I drove away from the office today, unease settled into my stomach.
What in the world am I going to do? And just how long will it take me to get this opportunity? Besides my need to plan, I have no tolerance for waiting. I look for instant results, which is rather unfortunate since life rarely works that way. This lesson becomes clearer with every resume submitted and application filled out.
As I write this, I realize there are probably a lot of lessons to learn along this journey to a new career. Just what other pieces of wisdom will be gained? Stay tunned.
